Healthy Bones Co., together with Bone Coach® and OsteoIQ®, today announced a new philanthropic partnership with Rescued Pets Movement (RPM), a Houston-based nonprofit working to save dogs and cats from euthanasia in overcrowded shelters and give them a path toward permanent, loving homes.
The partnership began with strong financial support from all three organizations and is intended to grow into an ongoing commitment that combines continued contributions with greater awareness and community involvement. Additional support is planned through the end of 2026, with more consistent, ongoing, increasing support beginning in 2027.
Rescued Pets Movement works with overcrowded shelters to rescue animals at risk, provide needed veterinary care and rehabilitation, and transport them to rescue partners in communities across the United States and Canada where they have greater opportunities for adoption. Since 2013, RPM has helped save more than 100,000 homeless animals.
For Kevin Ellis, founder and CEO of Healthy Bones Co. and Bone Coach, supporting animal rescue is also deeply personal.
“My mom rescued dogs when I was growing up, and watching her care for animals that couldn’t care for themselves was one of my earliest examples of what it means to do something for another living being without expecting anything in return,” Ellis said. “That stayed with me. I’ve loved dogs my entire life, and as our businesses have grown, so has our ability and responsibility to help.”
The partnership is part of a broader effort by Ellis and his companies to make philanthropy more consistent, measurable and closely connected to causes they genuinely care about.
“We weren’t looking for the biggest organization or the one with the most recognition,” Ellis said. “We were looking for organizations doing meaningful work where we could understand how the resources were being used and see the impact they were creating. Rescued Pets Movement really stood out to us.”
The companies intend to expand their support beyond financial contributions. Ellis plans to visit Rescued Pets Movement in Houston in 2027 to experience its work firsthand and create content that introduces RPM to the 300,000+ women in the Bone Coach community. He also plans to introduce the organization to other leaders and practitioners in the health and wellness community who may be interested in supporting its mission.
“This is just the beginning,” Ellis said. “The bigger opportunity is using the community and relationships we’ve built to help more people discover this organization, support the work, and ultimately give more animals a second chance.”
Healthy Bones Co., Bone Coach and OsteoIQ are also developing a broader philanthropic framework centered around three areas: RESCUE • NOURISH • MENTOR, supporting organizations that protect vulnerable animals, provide nutritious food to children and families, and create mentorship opportunities for young people.
