Quantizr, a financial operations platform tailored for the live entertainment industry, has secured $5 million in seed funding. The round was led by TTV Capital, an early investor in Bill.com and Greenlight, with additional participation from music industry figures including Jonathan Azu of Culture Collective, Chris Kappy of Make Wake Artists, and Andy Levine of Sixthman and Topeka.
The company aims to tackle a persistent challenge for artist managers and their teams: the lack of real-time financial data during tours. Traditionally, tour finances are scattered across offers, contracts, budgets, expenses, and settlements, making it difficult to gauge profitability until after a tour concludes. Quantizr uses AI to extract financial information from these business documents and organizes it into a structured, live workflow.
Recently, Quantizr expanded its offerings with Quantizr Tour Financials (QTF), a feature that provides artist teams with a real-time view of their financials while on the road. This allows them to monitor budgets, track expenses, and understand profitability as the tour progresses, rather than waiting for post-tour settlements. The platform is designed to help artist teams protect margins and make faster, more informed decisions.
“The live entertainment industry has been underserved by financial technology, leaving artist teams to rely on outdated methods that often result in surprises at the end of a tour,” said a spokesperson for Quantizr. “With this funding, we can accelerate the development of our platform and bring much-needed transparency to tour finances.”
The investment comes at a time when the live entertainment sector is rebounding and artists are increasingly seeking more control over their financial operations. By leveraging AI, Quantizr aims to become the financial backbone for artist teams, enabling them to focus on creativity rather than administrative burdens.
Quantizr’s platform turns fragmented financial data into a single operating view, which is crucial for understanding the true cost of each tour leg, negotiating better deals, and avoiding budget overruns. The new funding will be used to scale the platform, enhance its AI capabilities, and expand its team to meet growing demand.
“We were impressed by Quantizr’s vision and the immediate value it provides to artist managers,” said a representative from TTV Capital. “The team’s deep understanding of the industry and their innovative use of AI positions them to redefine how tour finances are managed.”
As the live entertainment industry continues to evolve, tools like Quantizr are becoming essential for ensuring financial sustainability. With this new capital, Quantizr is poised to help more artist teams tour smarter, making real-time financial clarity a standard part of the touring experience.
