MAX Power Expands Natural Hydrogen System in Saskatchewan with Continued Drilling

MAX Power Mining Corp. (CSE: MAXX; OTC: MAXXF; FRANKFURT: 89N) has reported significant progress in its commercial validation drilling at the Lawson Complex in south-central Saskatchewan, where it has now triangulated a large Natural Hydrogen system and expanded it further with new drilling results. The company announced that the completion of the Lawson 3 well, along with drilling at Lawson 4 located more than 2 kilometers to the west, has confirmed and enlarged the system, reinforcing the potential of this emerging energy resource.

At Lawson 4, the company intersected what it interprets as a significant deep crustal fault or conduit at a depth of 2,310.5 meters. This intersection recorded the highest Natural Hydrogen readings to date at the Lawson project, with readings remaining elevated as drilling continues through a highly fractured Precambrian basement complex. These findings suggest that the area may host substantial accumulations of naturally occurring hydrogen, which is gaining attention as a clean energy source.

In addition to the drilling progress, MAX Power is preparing to drill Lawson 5, its largest step-out hole to date. This well is targeting the edge of the “Salt Wall,” a geological structure located approximately 27 to 31 kilometers northeast of the current drilling area. The step-out is designed to test the lateral extent of the hydrogen system and could significantly expand the known resource area.

To support these efforts, the company has added eight new Natural Hydrogen permit parcels covering approximately 470,000 acres, bringing its total permitted land position in Saskatchewan to approximately 2.5 million acres. This district-scale landholding positions MAX Power as a leading player in the exploration of Natural Hydrogen in Canada.

The Lawson Discovery, located near Central Butte, Saskatchewan, represents Canada’s first-ever subsurface Natural Hydrogen system confirmed through deep drilling, with data validated by three independent labs. The company’s extensive land position covers prime exploration ground prospective for large-volume accumulations of Natural Hydrogen, which could offer a low-carbon alternative to conventional hydrogen production methods.

Beyond its Natural Hydrogen projects, MAX Power holds a portfolio of properties in the United States and Canada focused on critical minerals.
