Nordex Group Raises 2026 EBITDA Margin Guidance to 11.5-12.5% on Strong Q3 Results

The Nordex Group, a leading wind turbine manufacturer, has raised its full-year 2026 EBITDA margin guidance to a range of 11.5 to 12.5%, up from the previous 8.0 to 11.0%, following preliminary third-quarter results that surpassed market expectations. The announcement, made on October 15, 2026, underscores the company’s improved operational performance and financial health, signaling positive momentum for the renewable energy sector.

Preliminary unaudited EBITDA for Q3 2026 is expected to be approximately EUR 278 million, a significant increase from EUR 136 million in the same period last year. This corresponds to an EBITDA margin of 12.7%, compared to 8.0% in Q3 2025. Revenues for the quarter are projected at around EUR 2,187 million, up from EUR 1,706 million a year earlier. The strong results were driven by higher margins in the Service segment and robust project execution, while risks previously assumed in the Projects segment did not materialize to the extent anticipated.

Nordex’s cash position also strengthened, with preliminary cash and cash equivalents totaling EUR 2,327 million at the end of Q3 2026, compared to EUR 1,929 million at the end of Q4 2025. Free cash flow for the quarter is expected to reach EUR 379 million, more than double the EUR 149 million reported in Q3 2025. The company expects free cash flow to remain positive in the fourth quarter, supported by additional profits, order intake momentum, and continued working capital improvement.

Jose Luis Blanco, CEO of Nordex Group, commented, “The third quarter shows what our teams can deliver. Strong execution in Projects and higher profitability in Service have put us in a very good position for the final quarter. We are raising our EBITDA margin guidance for 2026 and remain focused on profitable growth.”

Other elements of the full-year guidance remain unchanged: sales are expected between EUR 8.2 and 9.0 billion, working capital ratio below -9%, and capital expenditures of approximately EUR 200 million. Nordex will publish its full third-quarter results on November 5, 2026.

The upward revision is significant for investors and industry observers, as it reflects Nordex’s ability to navigate challenges and capitalize on favorable market conditions. With over 67 GW of wind power capacity commissioned across more than 40 markets since 1985, the company is well-positioned in the onshore wind sector.
