CrossFit Mentality has relocated to a larger facility in Mentor, Ohio, a move completed over the summer that gives the gym more room for training and allows it to expand its offerings. The expanded space supports new programming and amenities aimed at a broader range of members.
A key addition is the gym’s new status as an official HYROX gym. HYROX combines running with functional movement stations, introducing a hybrid endurance training option alongside the existing CrossFit programming. The affiliation allows members to train for HYROX events in a dedicated setting and adds a new dimension to the gym’s fitness offerings.
The gym has also introduced a Legends class, held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:30 PM, designed for members aged 55 and older. The class aims to help older members become stronger, healthier, and more independent, addressing a growing demand for age-appropriate strength and conditioning programs.
In addition, the new facility includes an expanded Recovery Room featuring a sauna and cold plunge, enabling members to recover on-site after training. The recovery amenities reflect a broader trend in fitness toward integrating recovery into regular training routines.
